What To Look For In A Photo Booth Company For Your Event
Monday, November 28th, 2011 Submitted by Photo Loco Photo Booth
No one can resist the opportunity to mug for the camera when there’s a photo booth in the vicinity, which is why renting a photo booth is sure to make your guests happy. But not all photo booth rental companies are created equal, so here are the perks you absolutely must look for from the photo booth company you hire for your event:
Quality Service
When you’re hiring a photo booth company, you need to make sure that the company will deliver the photo booth and set it up for you at no extra cost. In addition, your photo booth company should assign technicians to your event just to make sure that if there is a glitch with the photo booth, it gets repaired on the spot.
Great Photos
All you really need in order to make a strip of photos memorable is one person with a very good imagination, but props definitely help. Any photo booth rental company you hire should provide your event with a number of props so that your attendees can make their photos as unique as possible. In addition, the booth itself should be technologically equipped so that attendees can view their poses and adjust as necessary. The booth should also offer both color and black and white options.
Wonderful Memories
If you hire a good photo booth rental company, then you should receive a flash drive of the photos taken during the event, as well as the location of those same photos in an online gallery. In addition, the company will work with you to create a logo that’s unique to your event and that is stamped on every photo strip. Finally, the company will present you with a scrapbook at the end of the evening, one that’s full of photos taken at the party and signed by the guests.
If you’re interested in renting a photo booth for your next big event, then call Photo Loco Photo Booth. Photo Loco Photo Booth is a great San Antonio company that offers event photo booth rentals, including wedding photo booth rentals. For more information, call them at (210) 757-0146.

Unusual Centerpieces
Tuesday, June 14th, 2011Although most centerpieces for weddings are floral, the creative and most eye catching ones are the non-traditional ones. Landscape centerpieces, a trend for 2010, usually showcase natural elements such as moss, mushrooms, tree bark, fruit or even vegetables and are oftentimes story-like and multi-layered.

Shoes with flair
Monday, June 6th, 2011Every small detail adds to the drama of your wedding. From the color of the candles to the folding of your napkins, the little things matter. When selecting your wedding day attire, the majority of the focus is on finding that special dress, but with every perfect dress there is a pair of perfect shoes.
These days, white satin shoes are not the only option presented to brides. Bridal shoes range from extravagant with rhinestones and sequence to simple yet elegant flats or showy cowboy boots. Whichever option a bride chooses, wedding shoes are no longer meant to hide under the gown all night- they are the little detail needed to tie everything together perfectly.
Kristin Radicke from Urth Studio Photography has a unique view on wedding shoes:
“One of my very favorite details to shoot has to be the wedding shoes. I think one’s taste in shoes says so much about their personality, so to see the shoes that a bride has selected to strut down the aisle in is always a good surprise in a sense for me.”

Budget for your wedding flowers
Thursday, May 12th, 2011Wedding flowers are the perfect opportunity to infuse your wedding with natural beauty in your color scheme and your own personal sense of style. Choosing flowers for your wedding can be a daunting task, but with some basic information about what goes into the cost of your flowers, you’ll be able to make an informed decision that works for your wedding style and budget.
Use this guide from Oakleaf Florist to get a general idea of what you can expect to pay for your arrangements:
- Bride’s bouquet: $85-$225
- Bridesmaid’s bouquet: $25-$85
- Boutonnieres: $10-$20
- Corsages: $12.50-$35
- Altar arrangements: $75-$250
- Centerpieces: $25-$100
If wedding flowers seem expensive, consider the average retail cost per stem for these popular wedding flowers from Oakleaf Florist:
- Calla lily: $12.50
- Cala lily – mini: $15
- Cymbidium orchid: $15
- Gardenia: $30
- Gerbera daisy: $5
- Hydrangea: $15
- Peony: $25
- Rose: $5
- Stargazer lily: $10
- Stephanotis: $100 for a box of 20
- Tulip: $5
Work with your florist to find ways to save on your wedding flowers including:
- Opt for less expensive filler blooms accented with fewer, pricier flowers
- Use non-floral alternatives such as ribbon and candles to accent your flowers and create impact without having to spend more on flowers
- Toss the real bridal bouquet or a bridesmaids’ bouquet instead of paying for a separate toss bouquet
- Reuse flowers whenever possible. Church altar flowers may be relocated to the reception or the florist can design reception arrangements that reuse the bridesmaids’ bouquets
- Consider the season when choosing your wedding flowers to reduce the cost of importing flowers long distances for your wedding

Simply about detail: accents for your chairs
Tuesday, April 26th, 2011Submitted by Clink

Photography courtesy of: la Vie Photography, Eclectic Images, Jennifer Lindberg Weddings and Red Fly Photography
Chair accents can be as simple as chair jackets, or they can be unique, personalized and eye-catching with some floral touches! Here are some ways to make your seats the best in the house:
- Mr. and Mrs. signs – This is the first glimpse of your new name in print. Paper signs made to match your stationary can be attached to your chairs with a gorgeous ribbon in your color palette.
- Floral décor – Wedding florists can craft your initials out of flowers to hang on your chairs. Or create small wreaths to hang from ribbon on your chairs.
- Bride and Groom signs – You can find these signs at wedding boutiques and web sites everywhere. Pick something that represents the style of your wedding. Have a rustic feel? Have your names branded on pieces of wood. Going for the drama? Have a calligrapher handwrite your names on mirrors and attach them to your chairs. If you are having a Spring garden wedding, you can use vintage tin signs.
Keep in mind it can be something you can use for your memory book. Make it interesting, have fun making them.

Seasonal Sensation: decor by season
Monday, April 25th, 2011Submitted by Blossom A. Braemer, Blossom’s Floral Artistry
Blossom’s Floral Artistry was recently asked to create floral decor for seasoned tables. Enjoy these photos of the stunning seasonal tables. Grab a little inspiration from these elegant tables to take to your wedding and be sure to check out Blossom’s blog for more ideas.
A Winter table was titled “love sparkles” and featured a white manzanita tree adorned with dozens of icy crystal drops, white dendrobium orchids, and a hidden friend.
They surrounded the tree with clusters of pave arrangements which included white hydrangea, white David Austin Roses, winter berries, ranunculus and dusty miller.
The table was finished with wine corks for favors on the plates, place card holders and tons of bling accents.
A Fall table featured leonitas roses, antique green hydrangea, iced tea spray roses and hypericum berries made this arrangement very elegant.
While decorating the table, Blossom looked for something to add a bit of drama. The cluster of chandelier forms were hung from the ceiling of the tent.
The finished table design was stunning.
Linens, tables, chairs and table settings were all provided by Premier Party Central. When a vision is shared with a planner, and that planner has the right connections in place, the result is flawless.
Until next time,
